#TakeMeHomeTuesday Furniture Edition! 40% Sale

#TakeMeHomeTuesday Furniture Edition! 40% Sale

World Market is having one of their biggest furniture sales of the year this week. And while normally my #TakeMeHomeTuesday posts focus on farmhouse finds $25 and under- this type of sale doesn’t come often, so take advantage of it while you can.

By using code: FURNDEAL you will save 40% off the price, and code FREESHIP65 will save you on the shipping.

In addition, apply to become a World Market Explorer Card holder before checkout- its free! They’ll send you an extra 15% off, and if you get lucky like I did- they’ll let you use it on top of the 40% off (I was in the store buying the bar cart this summer when they allowed me to do this). The best part of being a World Market Explorer card member is that you’ll earn points for rewards dollars. I so wish I knew this when I ordered our dining room furniture 5 years ago- I probably would have been able to get an entire piece of furniture for free.

Want to see the quality of furniture in person? The nearest World Market to where I live is in Paramus, NJ off 17, behind the Lord & Taylor store. However, they don’t have every single furniture piece in the store for you to see. I first discovered World Market 5 years ago when googling “Pottery Barn-like Furniture”- and was pleasantly surprised by some of the prices during sales. The Paramus location wasn’t around then- and I happened to see a WM while in Myrtle Beach, SC on vacation. I can vouch that all of the items I’ve ever purchased for my own home or clients, has been great quality.

Here are some WM pieces in my home:

So here’s a run-down of some of my favorite pieces, some I’ve purchased, and some I’ve been eyeing for a long time. Click on the pictures to be brought directly to the link on WM’s website.

Console Tables:

Everett Console table- Originally: $329 with coupon: $198

This table is a steal for the sheer size and quality. I’ve purchased this piece for 2 homes, one was used as a table on an entryway wall with botanical prints above it, while the other was used as a sofa table behind a large sectional couch. The Everett table is great quality and very long at close to 71” in length. You won’t find another table priced like this for how large it is. I’m a big fan of hiding the back of couches especially if it’s the first thing you see when you walk in a room. This piece is a steal and you can add handles to the almost-invisible drawers if you wish.

Benches:

Paige Dining Bench- Originally $299, with coupon: $180

I’ve ordered two of these benches, one in beige and one in blue for two customers and they were both beautiful. We used them as an entryway bench and a reading nook bench, but you can also use it as a dining room bench. 48” in length.

Reclaimed Pine Wood Alain Dining Bench-Originally $280, with coupon: $168

I haven’t purchased this bench, but I”ve been eyeing it for some time. I love the industrial farmhouse look of it’s metal legs mixed with the pine top. It’s 75” in length, which makes it a great choice for a long entryway wall, a dining bench, or even up against a long window. It’s a great price for the size of the bench.

Media Consoles/ Dining Buffets/ or Bar Carts

These options can be used for either for any of the options listed above.

Holbrook Sideboard: Originally $499, with coupon $300

Langley Storage Cabinet: Originally $550, with coupon $330

I love love love this cabinet! It’s the perfect mix of rustic and industrial. It reminds me of a mix of the two cabinets you might have seen pictured in my posts: the metal steel dining room buffet, and the wood console in my sitting room against the shiplap wall. At five feet long this piece is a steal for $330.

Large Wood and Metal Langley Storage Cabinet: Originally $649, with coupon $389

Also available in an even larger size: this cabinet is 76” long.

Metal Bexley Bar Cart: Originally $550, with coupon $330

This cart is solid metal and very heavy. I nearly pulled my back out moving this thing into my basement with my husband this summer. It reminds me of a storage locker, and I had been eyeing it forever. I think it’s a beautiful piece if you’re looking to bring a little industrial flair to your space.

Two-Tone Wood Camilla Farmhouse Bar, Originally $500, with coupon $300

I love this piece and I’ve been trying to convince my one client that it’s the perfect height for a bar cabinet leading into their dining room. I love the mix of white and wood and that it can hold wine glasses inside. I picture it with wine bottle inside, a tray and alcohol bottles on top, and open bar shelving above.

Two- Tone Camilla Farmhouse Storage Cabinet, Originally $600, with coupon $360.

This beautiful piece is the matching item to the bar cabinet above. Not only would it look great in a dining room, but also as a media console for a television as well. This cabinet is currently out of stock online, (probably because it’s so beautiful), but I included it incase you can locate it in a store near you.

Work Table/ Desk:

Wood Braylen Adjustable Height Work Table, originally $349, with coupon $210

This can be used as a work table/ desk, or even as a small pub table with some stools around it. I’ve been eyeing this for a while because it reminds me of some industrial adjustable work table options available from PB for a ton more $$$

Book Case/ Library

Wood and Metal Bookcase with Ladder, Originally $600, with coupon $360.

I find this bookcase super dreamy mainly because of the ladder detail and the X back. I’ve always dreamed of a library room with tall ceilings and a ladder with wheels (and have you seen kitchens with library ladders… omggg).

Small Side Table

Tribal Carved Wood Accent Table: Originally $170, with coupon $102

I love the detail in this side table and it would look great next to a cozy arm chair, decorated with a pillow, blanket, small plant and your coffee mug.

Couch and Chair

Chesterfield Gray Quentin Sofa and Chair- Originally $750, with coupon $450, Originally $400, with coupon $240

When we were renovating our basement I really wanted a tufted chesterfield leather sofa, which were super expensive. I contemplated getting this couch instead- but stuck with leather since basement’s tend to be damp. This couch and matching chair are available in a variety of colors and are a steal in comparison to other chesterfield couches available on wayfair. I’m not sure if these would be that comfortable in a regularly used family room, but I think these are great options for a sitting room that gets less use.

Coffee Tables

While I did a post two weeks ago on my LiketoKNOWit page on my favorite coffee tables- here’s a few that are available for a steal right now at WM.

Slatted Natural Wood Farmhouse Noam Coffee Table, Originally $349, with coupon $210

I love the light color and X sides of this table.

Wood Farmhouse Duncan Coffee Table, Originally $300, with coupon $180

Love, love, loveee the look of the metal top on this table!

If you’re in the market for a coffee table and these aren’t your style, follow me on Liketoknowit to see some other great coffee tables for under $250.
